Amplifying female voices with Girls Write Now

If you know me, you know how important it is to me to create a more female world, where women are leaders in every area of our lives. It’s why I do the work I do here at Mighty Forces: The more we fill the world with authentic stories about smart, powerful women, the more we create a world ready for women to lead.

So it should come as no surprise that I’m a champion for Girls Write Now, an organization that mentors underserved teen girls in NYC to find their voices through the power of writing and community.

After all, teen girls who tell their stories become women who tell their stories.

I'm honored to be on the host committee for Girls Write Now’s “Day of the Girl” event on October 11, featuring Phoebe Robinson of 2 Dope Queens, Teen Vogue editor Samhita Mukhopadhyay, and so many other inspiring women. I hope you’ll consider joining me at what promises to be a super fun event that will help fund the next generation of female storytellers. Details below, or just skip ahead and get your tix
